HC Deb 19 November 1914 vol 68 c575
Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

May I ask the Prime Minister when it is proposed to take the further stages of the Trading with the Enemy Act (1914) Amendment Bill?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)

We hope to do so to-morrow, if time permit, after Report of Ways and Means.

Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

May I appeal to the right hon. Gentleman to take the Second Beading to-morrow, and to postpone the Committee stage until Monday, as there is great interest in this matter?

The PRIME MINISTER

Certainly.

Ordered, "That the Committee of Ways and Means have precedence this day of the Business of Supply."—[The Prime, Minister.]
