§ Mr. BIRRELLThe total amount of the abatements from payments out of the Local Taxation (Ireland) Account to local authorities in Ireland during the four years ending 31st March last, owing to the insufficiency of the income of the account is £156,699, the proportion withheld from county Kerry being £7,033. These abatements were made in accordance with Section 58 (5) of the Local Government (Ire-land) Act, 1898.
