Mr. BARNESasked the Primo Minister if, in view of the passing through all its stages, by the House of Lords, of a 1936 Bill for the training and registration of midwives in Scotland, and in view of the need of such a Bill becoming law, he will favourably consider the question of giving facilities either for the Bill in question or for that standing in the name of the Member for the Blackfriars Division of Glasgow?
§ The PRIME MINISTERThe Government are favourably disposed to the principles of the Bill, and will consider whether facilities can be given for its progress.
