asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether the recent visit of Sir Malcolm Morris to India was undertaken at the desire, or at the cost, of the India Office; and whether any re port has been, or will be, presented on the results of this visit?


Sir Malcolm Morris's visit to India was not undertaken at the instigation, or at the cost, of the India Office. The answer to the second part of the question is in the negative.
