HC Deb 19 May 1914 vol 62 c1770
64. Mr. WHELER

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty when he will be able to give a reply to the petitions presented by the Admiralty storehousemen?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of ADMIRALTY (Dr. Macnamara)

It is hoped that it will be possible to reply at a fairly early date.

Mr. WHELER

May I ask whether the reply will be given before the next Debate on the Naval Estimates?

Dr. MACNAMARA

That I cannot say.

Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKE

Will the reply to the storehousemen at the West India Dock be included?

Dr. MACNAMARA

The reply deals with all the storehousemen, so I imagine it would.

Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKE

May we take it that the answer will include the question of the London allowance?

Dr. MACNAMARA

I cannot say that.
