§ Mr. HOBHOUSEI regret that it will not be practicable to effect any improvement in the retiring accommodation for the women at Brighton head post office until the new sorting office and telephone exchange are completed and occupied. A site for the new building has been acquired, but it will not be possible to 1278 begin the building work in the current financial year.
