HC Deb 12 May 1914 vol 62 c907
42. Mr. MACPHERSON

asked the Lord Advocate whether he will consider the propriety of introducing legislation for the establishment of a Court of Criminal Appeal in Scotland?

The LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. Munro)

The subject referred to in the question is at present being carefully considered by my right hon. Friend the Secretary for Scotland and myself.

Mr. MACPHERSON

Will the right hon. Gentleman take into consideration all the representations that have been made to him from the Royal burghs of Scotland?

Mr. WATT

Is this the only Bill which the right hon. Gentleman's Department will try to pass this Session?

Mr. MUNRO

I would be very sorry to give that impression.
