3. Motion made, and Question put, That—

  1. (a) the relief given in respect of earned income shall be modified so as to allow relief only as follows:—
  2. (b) it is declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1913.—[Chancellor of the Exchequer.]
