HC Deb 07 May 1914 vol 62 c457
Mr. BONAR LAW

May I ask the Prime Minister what the business will be next week?

The PRIME MINISTER

On Monday we propose to continue the general discussion on the Budget, and we hope that night to complete the Committee stage of the Resolutions.

On Tuesday we shall lake the Procedure Resolutions in regard to the time to be given for the Government of Ireland Bill, the Welsh Church Bill, and the Plural Voting Bill—I shall put the Resolution on the Paper to-night—and if time permits we shall take some of the smaller Orders on the Paper.

On Wednesday we shall take the formal Committee stages of those Bills under the Parliament Act and the Financial Resolutions. That will be followed, if time permits, by the Third Reading of the Elementary Education (Defective and Epileptic Children) Bill; the Second Reading of the British Nationality and Status of Aliens Bill; and the Third Reading of the East African Protectorates (Loans) Bill.

On Thursday we hope to complete the Report stage of the Ways and Means Resolutions.

Ordered, That the Business of Ways and Means have precedence this day of the Business of Supply.—[The Prime Minister.]
