HC Deb 30 March 1914 vol 60 c840
Mr. JOHN WARD

I wish to ask the Secretary of State for War a question of which I have given him private notice, namely: Whether Major-General Sir C. F. N. Macready, Director of Personal Services, with his aide-de-camp, paid an official visit to Sir Edward Carson at Craigavon on the 24th March, and, if so, what was the nature of the business transacted on that occasion; and whether the Director of Personal Services has made any report to the War Office relating to the visit, and, if so, what was the nature of the report?

The PRIME MINISTER

I think notice ought to be given of that question.

Sir EDWARD CARSON

I can answer the question, Sir.
