§ The FIRST LORD of the ADMIRALTY (Mr. Churchill)The responsibility mentioned in the first part of the question rests with the officer detailed by the company for the purpose. No extra emoluments will be paid to him, but service in charge of the guns will be allowed to count towards qualification for his training fee in place of annual or biennial naval training. The gun layers and guns' crews will receive extra pay for their services.
