Mr. ASTORasked the President of the Local Government Board if he will now give the information with regard to the outbreak of diphtheria in Upper Norwood, as to whether the cause of the outbreak has been traced to the milk supply; whether, on one farm supplying milk to the neighbourhood, one milker had an ulcer on his finger, which proved to be infected with diphtheria germs, and another had sores on his hands which were infected with diphtheria germs; and whether several of the men on the dairy were found to carry diphtheria germs in their throats?
