Mr. CASSELasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that more time will be available for dealing with Grants to local authorities if the Finance Bill is divided, as indicated by the President of the Local Government Board, and in view of the result of the Division on the Amendment to the Motion for the Second Reading of the Finance Bill, he will reconsider the decision of the Government not to make temporary Grants to local authorities this year?
