Mr. ROBERTSThe Secretary of State for India in Council has approved the Grant of a special rate of unemployed pay to officers vacating appointments in Indian Cavalry regiments under the orders referred to. He has also authorised relaxation of the rules in special cases where they occasion real hardship to existing seconds in command.
