Sir JOHN SPEARasked the President of the Board of Education whether his attention has been called to a dispute between the Devon Education Committee and the managers of Stiklepath School about the proposal of the committee to reduce the size of the playground of that school; and will he take steps to promote an amicable settlement of the dispute?
Mr. PEASEI have received a letter from the managers on the subject, and I am asking the local education authority for their observations thereon. I am also consulting His Majesty's inspector.
