HALL (Dulwich)asked the Prime Minister if the statement made by Lord Morley elsewhere to the effect that the Amendments made by the House of Lords in the Government of Ireland (Amendment) Bill were tantamount to the rejection of the measure, expressed the views of the Government as a whole; whether such statement applied to all and, 45 if not, which of the Amendments; if, in the event of it not being possible to proceed with the Amending Bill on agreed lines, it will be dropped; and if, in that case, the main Bill will be brought into force in its present form?
