Mr. EDMUND HARVEYasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the attention of the Foreign Office has been called to a photograph taken in Koritza, in April of this year, showing a group of insurgent prisoners wearing Greek uniforms; whether the attention of 1898 the Greek Government has been called to the use being made of Greek troops in Southern Albania; and whether, in view of the responsibility assumed by the Powers for the creation of an autonomous Albania, any collective protest is now being made on their behalf against this action of Greece?
§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Acland)I have heard of the existence of photographs which would appear to be sufficiently explained by the presence of Greek deserters among the Epirote forces. The Greek Government have withdrawn their troops, and have disclaimed any share in, or responsibility for, recent events in Epirus.
