§ Mr. C. ROBERTSIf the hon. Member refers to the Bawi system, certain principles have been laid down by the Assam Administration, in consultation with the local missionaries, for dealing with the system which should diminish its objectionable features. The Chief Commissioner of Assam will visit the Lushai Hills and examine the conditions personally.
