HC Deb 02 July 1914 vol 64 c534
39. Sir WILLIAM BEALE

asked the Postmaster - General whether prompt attention can be given to the complaint of Mr. J. D. Mackintosh, of Barassie, near Troon, Ayrshire, that the telephone promised for his house, the contract for which was signed on the 20th March, and which, after repeated complaints, was promised to be in operation by the 13th June, and then alleged to be delayed for the rearrangement of local wires, has not been completed, although all other local telephones are in full operation?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

I am having inquiry made in the matter, and will communicate with the hon. Member as soon as possible.
