Mr. NEWMANasked the Secretary of State for War whether, having regard to the fact that the strength of the Regular Forces is much below that for which provision for pay and maintenance has been made in this year's Estimates, he will say whether he proposes to relinquish the amount so saved to the Chancellor of the Exchequer or to obtain the sanction of the House to devote the same to the strengthening and equipping of the National Reserve Force?
