HC Deb 24 February 1914 vol 58 c1572
23. Sir HENRY CRAIK

asked whether the amount accruing in respect of insured persons who have not chosen a doctor, and have not been assigned to any doctor on the panel, falls to be paid to the doctors who have joined the panel; and why such amount has not been distributed accordingly by the London Insurance Committee?

Mr. WEDGWOOD BENN (Lord Of the Treasury)

As regards the first part of the question, I may refer the hon. Member to my reply to the hon. Member for West Renfrewshire on the 20th instant. With regard to the second part of the question, my right hon. Friend understands that the matter of the distribution of funds is receiving the attention of the London Insurance Committee.

Sir H. CRAIK

Can the hon. Gentleman not say how soon this question, which has now been before the Committee for a long time, will be settled?

Mr. BENN

If the hon. Member will give me notice of that question, I will inquire.
