HC Deb 24 February 1914 vol 58 cc1727-8

Postponed Proceeding resumed.

Motion made and Question proposed, "That the Resolution be reported."

Mr. JAMES HOPE

It is impossible to hear what has been put from the Chair, Mr. Maclean, and the attendant has just shouted "Who goes home?"

The DEPUTY-CHAIRMAN (Mr. Maclean)

We do not go home until our business is done.

Mr. HOPE

But the House could not hear what has been put.

The DEPUTY-CHAIRMAN

The question is that I report the Resolution to which the House has already agreed.

And, it being after Eleven of the clock, and objection being taken to further Proceeding, the Chairman left the Chair to make his Report to the House.

Resolution to be reported To-morrow (Wednesday); Committee to sit again Tomorrow.
