§ Mr. MACMASTERI beg to ask the Prime Minister whether, in view of the 40 seriousness of the tremendous struggle in which the country is now engaged, it is not in the interest of national safety and the discharge of international duty to permit men between the ages of thirty and forty years, who are sound in health and anxious for service, to enlist in the Emergency Army now being created to support the Regular forces during the present War?
§ The PRIME MINISTERThis is a point which will not be lost sight of by the Government.
