§ Mr. CLANCYasked the President of the Local Government Board, with reference to the first two Orders on the Paper today, whether the Housing Bill will be extended to Ireland, where the probability of increased unemployment is greater and the housing conditions worse than in Great Britain?
§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELIt would not be possible, within the rules of the Order, to extend this Bill to Ireland, but my right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary will today give notice that he will introduce a Bill dealing with Ireland when the House meets after a brief adjournment.
