§ The PRIME MINISTERMy Noble Friend, Lord Morley of Blackburn, and my right hon. Friend the Member for Battersea have tendered their resignations, which, with great reluctance, I have felt compelled to accept. My Noble Friend, Lord Beauchamp, has accepted the office of Lord President of the Council, and my right hon. Friend the Member for Dewsbury the Presidency of the Board of Trade. My hon. Friend the Member for the Elland Division has also tendered his resignation, which I have accepted with great regret.
