HC Deb 04 August 1914 vol 65 c1912
59. Colonel BURN

asked whether any decision had been arrived at as to granting an increase of pay to the members of the Civil staff of the Royal Naval College at Dartmouth?

Dr. MACNAMARA

The question of the pay of certain Civil employés at the College is still under consideration.

Colonel BURN

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that no change has been made in the pay since 1889 when civilians were substituted for service men?

Dr. MACNAMARA

I am not aware of the precise date of the last revision of pay, but the present pay is under consideration.

Colonel BURN

Will it be under consideration for eight or nine months?

Dr. MACNAMARA

I think not.
