HC Deb 04 August 1914 vol 65 cc1901-2
32. Mr. EDMUND HARVEY

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what fines have been levied on members of the Masai tribes during the last two years for trespass or for allowing their cattle to pass across the boundaries of the Southern Reserve in British East Africa?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Harcourt)

It would be difficult to make an adequate statement within the limits of a verbal reply, but I am having a written answer prepared which will be sent to my hon. Friend as soon as possible.

Mr. HARVEY

Will it be circulated with the Votes?

Mr. HARCOURT

I will consider that.
