§ 97. Sir JOHN JARDINEasked the Secretary of State for War, with reference to the bounty of £1 proposed to be given to recruits in Territorial battalions attending camp for the full period of fifteen days, whether it is to be confined to those who have performed forty drills by 1st August, or whether, in order to encourage those recruits who join in the months of January, February, March, and April, it will be also given to such as perform twenty drills by 1st August and complete the forty drills by 1st October?
§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the WAR OFFICE (Mr. Harold Baker)The intention is that the full forty drills must be performed before the annual camp, whether that begins on 1st August or any other date.
