HC Deb 23 April 1914 vol 61 c1090
32. Mr. CHARLES BATHURST

asked the hon. Member for St. George's-in-the-East if he is aware of the feeling among approved societies and their various organisations that the form of declaring-on certificate, Medical 34, issued by the Insurance Commissioners to panel doctors should bear upon it words to the effect that the certificate should be sent in to the society immediately it is signed; and whether he will take steps to have the desired alteration carried into effect?

Mr. BENN

The question of the revision of the form in the manner referred to by the hon. Member is now under the consideration of the Insurance Commissioners

Mr. BATHURST

How long will it be before this consideration leads to action?

Mr. BENN

The hon. Gentleman has just made a suggestion which will be acted on if it is a good one.

Mr. BATHURST

Was it brought to the notice of the Commissioners many months ago?

Mr. BENN

Not to my knowledge.
