§ Mr. ACLANDI have received no official information in the sense of the first part of the question. His Majesty's Government are fully alive to the importance of restoring order and security on the southern roads in the interests of British trade and are giving every support to the Persian Government in their efforts in that direction. The answer to the third part is in the affirmative.
