HC Deb 21 April 1914 vol 61 c730
6. Mr. F. HALL (Dulwich)

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, if any alteration has taken place with regard to the obligations of Japan in reference to the protection of British interests in the Pacific since the last agreement was come to with the Australian and New Zealand Governments as to the naval strength to be maintained by Great Britain in Australasian waters; and, if so, whether he will state the date when such alteration was arrived at and what are the precise obligations of Japan in the matter?
