Committee to consider of authorising the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of contributions to societies for the care of youthful offenders on probation and for similar objects; and of other expenses incurred in pursuance of any Act of the present Session, to diminish the number of cases committed to prison; to amend the law with respect to the treatment and punishment of young offenders; and otherwise to improve the administration of criminal justice.
