Mr. BARNESasked the Secretary to the Admiralty if inquiries have yet been made into the specific charges of non-fulfilment of the terms of the Fair Wage conditions of Government contracts of Messrs. Gwynnes, of Hammersmith; if so, with what result; and, if in consequence of repeated allegations against this firm, he will institute an independent and non-Departmental inquiry or, alternatively, strike the firm off the list of Government contractors?
