HC Deb 06 April 1914 vol 60 c1593
19. Mr. BRIDGEMAN

asked whether provisional valuation forms are supposed to state the parish in which each property is situated; and, if so, why the wrong parish is so frequently entered in these forms?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Montagu)

A provisional valuation gives the name of the Income Tax parish in which the property is situated. Where this is not also the name of the civil parish, a printed explanation is attached to the form.
