Mr. TYSON WILSONasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if his attention has been called to the fatal crane accident in High Holborn and the recommendation of the coroner's jury that an inspector should be appointed 2214 to examine chains that are used on cranes for lifting purposes; and whether he proposes to take any action in the matter?
§ Mr. McKENNAI have seen a report of the proceedings at the adjourned inquest in this case and of the verdict of the coroner's jury. The whole question of the safety of chains in processes coming within the Factory Act is under the consideration of the Department.
