asked what proportion of the statutory small holders con- stituted in the year 1912 were agricultural labourers?

Mr RUNCIMAN

From the information in the possession of the Board it appears that 38 per cent. of the statutory small holders constituted in 1912 described themselves as agricultural labourers in their application.
