HC Deb 07 May 1913 vol 52 c2032
45. Mr. JAMES HOPE

asked the Prime Minister whether he can see his way to afford facilities for the Second Reading of the Companies (Co-partnership) Bill, with a view to its committal to a select Committee?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)

I am afraid I cannot undertake to give facilities to this Bill.

Mr. JAMES HOPE

May I ask if the Government take any interest in this question?

The PRIME MINISTER

Yes, Sir, but this is not a Government Bill.
