§ The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Herbert Samuel)The support thus far promised for the extension of the telephone system to Durrow is not sufficient to justify the establishment of an exchange, but efforts will be made to obtain further support. The amount of support required in the case of an extension of the telephone service to any town is governed by the estimated expenses of the extension, and therefore varies with the local conditions.
