HC Deb 06 May 1913 vol 52 c1862
79. Mr. W. THORNE

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that the 5.43 a.m. train from Plaistow Station is overcrowded in consequence of only having four carriages; and whether he will make representation to the District Railway Company to put two more carriages on the train so as to prevent such overcrowding?

Mr. BUXTON

I have invited the observations of the railway company upon this question, and will communicate with my hon. Friend upon receipt of their reply.
