HC Deb 06 May 1913 vol 52 c1833
4. Sir J. D. REES

asked whether, following upon the speedy and successful issue of the Tantok column against the Nagas, steps will be taken to bring under control the outlying tribal tracts up to the frontier of Burma?

Mr. MONTAGU

The Secretary of State is not aware of any special circumstances connected with the particular incident to which the hon. Member refers which make it necessary to revise the general policy of government in respect of tribal territory on the North-Eastern Frontier of India.
