§ The TREASURER of the HOUSEHOLD (Captain Guest) reported His Majesty's Answer to the Address of the 20th day of this instant March as followeth:—
- I return you My most sincere thanks for your loyal and dutiful Address, expressing sympathy with Me in the great loss which I have sustained by the death of Mg beloved Uncle, the King of the Hellenes.
- I unite with you in the expression of indignation and deep concern at the tidings of the assassination, and I shall not fail to convey to King Constantine your sentiment of abhorrence at the perpetration of such a crime, and your sympathy with His Majesty and the members of the Royal Family of Greece and with the Government and people of that Country.
- It affords Me great comfort and gratification to receive this expression of your cordial feelings towards Myself and My Family, and to be reminded of the warm interest you take in all that concerns them.
