§ 89. Mr. JOYCEasked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the manner in which the painting contract at the military barracks at Limerick is now being carried out; is he aware that the local guild of painters complain that painting work is being carried out by labourers in preference to giving such work to bonâ fide tradesmen; and will he see that in this contract the Fair-Wages Resolution of the House of Commons is carried out as it should be?
Mr. BAKERNo representation on this subject has been received at the War Office, but the matter will be inquired into.
