§ Ordered, That a Select Committee be appointed to inquire into the circumstances which have led to the large and increasing number of fatal accidents in the metropolis, due to motor omnibuses and other forms of power-driven vehicles, and to make recommendations as to the measures to be taken to secure greater safety in the streets:
