§ 19. Sir J. D. REESasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether his attention has been called to the fact that a large number of medical men on London panels are advertised as being available for patients at more places than one at one and the same time, whereas Regulation B (2) (a) of 5th December, 1912, requires that the lists of such panel doctors shall contain particulars of the days and hours at which they undertake to be in attendance at each place; and, if so, what action he proposes to take to ensure compliance with this condition?
§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Masterman)I am informed by the London Insurance Committee that, with the exception of three misprints, which will be corrected in the revised edition of the list about to be 1465 published, the cases referred to in the hon. Member's question are cases in which the doctors concerned are either in partnership with other doctors on the panel or have engaged assistants. In these cases the particulars given include not only the hours at which these doctors can be seen personally, but also the consultation hours of their partners or assistants.
