§ Mr. BIRRELLI am aware that the Wexford County Council have voted a sum of £1,000 towards the construction of a pier at Blackwater. In the present state of their funds the Department of Agriculture are unable to offer a contribution exceeding £350 towards the project, and they are advised that no work of utility could be constructed at the place in question for £1,350.
