HC Deb 24 June 1913 vol 54 c979
Mr. BONAR LAW

I wish to ask what will be the business for Friday; and also to ask a question about the business to-day. I see with great surprise that the Insurance Act Amendment Bill is to be introduced to-day, under the Ten-Minute Rule. When shall we have an opportunity of seeing it in print?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I hope it will be in print to-morrow evening and ready in the Vote Office. The right hon. Gentleman said he was surprised that it is to be introduced under the Ten-Minute Rule. It is purely an Amendment of the Act.

On Friday we hope to take the Second Reading of the Mental Deficiency and Lunacy (Scotland) Bill, the Elementary Education (Defective and Epileptic Children) Bill, and the Education (Scotland) Bill.

Sir P. MAGNUS

Can the right hon. Gentleman undertake that the Amendment Bill will be in our hands not later than Thursday?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I hope so.

Mr. JAMES HOPE

When will the Education Bill be introduced?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I cannot fix a date for that.

Mr. HOGGE

What Scotch Votes are down for Thursday?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

The Board of Agriculture, I understand.

Mr. WEDGWOOD

We shall not be able to raise the case of Jessie Brown?
