HC Deb 23 June 1913 vol 54 c781
30. Mr. FELL

asked the Secretary to the Treasury if he is aware that friendly societies would be prepared to give to female domestic servants for a payment of 2d. a week the benefits they derive under the National Insurance Act; and if he proposes to reduce the payments under that Act or to increase the benefits when it is amended?

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative; the answer to the second part, so far as the hon. Member suggests that it depends upon the first, does not therefore arise.
