HC Deb 17 June 1913 vol 54 cc187-8
10. Captain. CLIVE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India if he can see his way to extend to majors and colonels the privilege now enjoyed by subalterns and captains on most railways in India of travelling first-class for a second-class fare, or at any rate to do so on the State railways or those in which the Government has a controlling interest?

Mr. MONTAGU

The matter is under consideration.
