§ 62. Mr. BRADYasked whether there has been delay in the delivery of the details for stonework for the new College of Science, Dublin; whether, in consequence a large number of stonemasons have been thrown out of employment; and what steps he will take to ensure the early resumption of this work?
§ Mr. MASTERMANNo delay has occurred that will interfere with the progress of erection of the building, and the Board of Works are informed that no stonecutters have been thrown out of employment. Several months will necessarily elapse before any cut stone can be used in the building.
§ Mr. BRADYIs it not a fact that there are fewer stonecutters at work to-day than when the building was commenced?
§ Mr. MASTERMANI will make further inquiries.
