Mr. DORISasked whether the Congested Districts Board have yet received an offer for sale of the Livingstone-Jordan estate, situate at Fairhill, Islandeady, county Mayo, or have the owners refused to sell through the Board; and, as all the lands surrounding this little estate have been already acquired by the Board, will steps be taken to acquire this property as soon as possible?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe fee simple of the section of the Livingstone estate on which Mr. Jordan's farm at Fairhill is situate, has not been offered for sale to the Congested Districts Board. The Board have been in correspondence with the agents for the property, but the maps and documents necessary for a preliminary inspection have not so far been lodged with them.
